I'm ella elaine
Cumbrian born and deeply inspired by the natural world, I find joy in walks through the Lakes, sunsets by the sea, and quiet, cosy evenings at home. I love living a slower pace of life - still dreaming of the day where I own land in the countryside with donkeys, goats, ducks and highland cows. If I could live off my mum's roast dinners every day, you betcha I would. I have to pet every dog I see, may have a slight obsession with cheese and ham toasties and could listen to Mumford & Sons on repeat all day.
More than anything, I deeply value quality time with the people I love. Family and friends (and my dog) mean the world to me, and those shared moments are what I treasure the most. At the end of the day, it’s the memories we carry with us, and by appreciating the small things — flowers blooming in spring, watching the sky change colour or feeling the warmth of summer sun on your skin — I’m able to notice and preserve the intimate, meaningful details that are special to you.
Life moves unstoppably fast - blink and you'll miss it. But photos offer a return ticket to a time gone by; a way to preserve the passing moments.

my philosophy
Your wedding is a celebration, and it should feel that way. When did we decide throwing a party was so serious? This is your time to let your hair down. And with me by your side, you can feel at ease.
At the heart of my photography is a deep commitment to honesty and connection. Rooted in analogue film and storytelling, my work embraces the beauty of imperfection, intention, and presence.
I like to slow things right down. Using a thoughtful mix of digital and analogue film, I capture your wedding day with care — focusing on how it truly felt rather than simply how it looked. You'll receive images that feel lived-in and emotionally true; images that hold memory, warmth, and the embrace of being connected to one another.
inspired by...
morning sun, soft sand, analogue film, candlelight, waterfalls, frost on spiders webs, candyfloss clouds, long grass in the wind, morning dew, flowers, birds singing, nostalgia,
vintage photo booths, waves, sunlight on the mountains, stain glass windows, games nights with friends, people, travelling to old and new places,
laugher, light, reflections, families spending time together, historic buildings, snowy mountains, the changing of the seasons, life.
"photography is less about perfection and more about a feeling"
"A million times thank you. Your kindness and reassuring presence made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. We could just relax and soak it all in. You've captured our day so perfectly - we will cherish these forever."
